From May 17 to 25, 2025, the world's elite table tennis players will converge in Doha to compete for glory in five categories: Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles .History at a GlanceEstablished in 1926, the World Table Tennis Championships have evolved into the sport's most esteemed competition. Initially featuring both team and individual events, the format has been refined over the years. Since 2021, individual events are held biennially, alternating with team championships. The WTTC has witnessed legendary performances from icons like Ma Long, Deng Yaping, and Jan-Ove Waldner, solidifying its status as the pinnacle of table tennis excellence.
