WTTC – World Table Tennis ChampionshipsThe 2025 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals mark a significant milestone as Doha, Qatar, hosts this prestigious event for the second time, exactly 21 years after its inaugural Middle Eastern edition in 2004. From May 17 to 25, 2025, the world's elite table tennis players will converge in Doha to compete for glory in five categories: Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles .History at a GlanceEstablished in 1926, the World Table Tennis Championships have evolved into the sport's most esteemed competition. Initially featuring both team and individual events, the format has been refined over the years. Since 2021, individual events are held biennially, alternating with team championships. The WTTC has witnessed legendary performances from icons like Ma Long, Deng Yaping, and Jan-Ove Waldner, solidifying its status as the pinnacle of table tennis excellence.

Organizing Committee

The successful orchestration of WTTC 2025 is a collaborative effort involving:

International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF): The global governing body overseeing regulations, international coordination, and media rights.
Qatar Table Tennis Association (QTTA): Under the leadership of President Khalil bin Ahmed Al Mohannadi, who also serves as the Deputy President of the ITTF, QTTA is responsible for local organization, logistics, and hospitality .
Qatar Olympic Committee: Providing strategic support to ensure the event aligns with Qatar's vision for sports excellence.

Usage: Hosting preliminary rounds from May 17 to 20, 2025, this venue supports early-stage matches, providing athletes with top-tier amenities.
